Rontogiannis, Labrini, Faculty, Science

Ms. Labrini Rontogiannis was born and raised in Montreal, Canada, and moved to Athens in 2004. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Cell Biology from McGill University, as well as a Bachelor of Education with a specialization in Science and English Literature, also from McGill. She later earned a Master of Education in Educational Technology through the University of Calgary’s online program.
Since joining ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø in 2005, Ms. Rontogiannis has contributed across multiple Academic Divisions, including the Middle School and Academy, and has always taken pride in being actively involved in all aspects of student life, both in and out of the classroom. Over the past five years, she has also served in a variety of administrative roles, further broadening her leadership experience and perspective. She recently earned certifications as a Positive Discipline Educator and as an ISTE Certified Educator.
Beyond her teaching role, Ms. Rontogiannis has been extensively involved with the Athletics Department. This will be her 20th year coaching Varsity Girls Basketball. When she is not coaching or volunteering at athletic events, she can often be found on the sidelines, proudly cheering on the ACS Lancers.
This year, Ms. Rontogiannis is excited to return to the Academy classroom, where she is teaching 9th Grade Biology and Environmental Systems and Societies (ESS).
