Skampavia, Lydia, Alumni Outreach Coordinator
Lydia Skampavia is a proud alumna of ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø (Class of 1993) and she has always remained closely connected to her school community. She holds a Master’s Degree in International Business from Webster University in Geneva, Switzerland , as well as Bachelor of Arts in Management with an emphasis in Marketing and Human Resources and a Certificate in Marketing from the same institution. She also earned a Professional Diploma in Maritime Business with a specialization in Chartering from the Hellenic Management Center.
Her professional background is diverse and international, with over 20 years of experience in the Banking, Shipping, Consulting, Retail, Services, and Education sectors. From her university years, Lydia has been actively engaged in giving back to society and, since 1993, has been a dedicated member of the Orthodox Philanthropic Foundation in Geneva, Switzerland. Inspired by her daughter, Maria, and the evolving global landscape, Lydia transitioned to the field of education in 2020. Since then, she has held several roles at ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø, beginning as a Substitute Teacher across Elementary, Middle School, and Academy. She taught and assisted in a wide range of subjects, including Social Studies, Art, Math, Elementary OLP, Drama, IB Economics, American Studies, and Literature.
From 2023 to 2025, Lydia served as the Alumni Engagement & Development Officer, following her role as Citizenship Coordinator & Alumni Officer in the Academy. Starting September 2025, Lydia serves as the Alumni Outreach Coordinator. She has also contributed significantly to institutional events, including the ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø Galas of 2023 and 2025, alumni reunions, and development initiatives.
Lydia finds her greatest fulfillment in working with students and in fostering meaningful connections with alumni worldwide. Through the ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø Global Alumni network, she aims to create opportunities for alumni to engage, mentor, and give back to their school. Passionate about Art, History, and the English language, Lydia believes that a well-rounded education lays the foundation for active, conscious citizens and future leaders. She is enthusiastic about contributing to ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø and supporting its vibrant community.
